Buffalo Narrows Assumes Control of Beach Site

The northern community of Buffalo Narrows will soon be getting a new recreation site.
It’s now Crown property, but the Big Buffalo Beach recreation site will soon be transferred to the northern village.
The community will be responsible for all operational and development costs, while at the same time, ensuring its continued use as a recreation site.
The change comes at the request of residents of Buffalo Narrows, who have also decided to change the name of the site to the Buffalo Narrows Sand Dunes Park.
