Blizzard-Delayed Flights To The North Resume

Flights to northern Saskatchewan from Prince Albert and Saskatoon are slowly returning to normal after yesterday’s blizzard.

The white-out conditions prompted the closure of both cities’ airports.

An official with Transwest Air says scheduled trips to La Ronge, Points North, Wollaston and Stony Rapids are ongoing.

However, passengers can expect a delay of around two hours.

Things are expected to normalize this afternoon, when officials believe they will have everything back on track.
