Black Point Man Accused Of Abusing Toddler

A 26-year-old man from Black Point is facing several charges in connection to an alleged ongoing series of assaults against three people, including two young children.

The unidentified man is facing a number of assault-related charges, included aggravated assault.

The assaults allegedly took place in May, but police were first notified last week.

The RCMP say a 19-year-old woman, a 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy were the victims of the assaults.

Their names won’t be released.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court in Buffalo Narrows on July 27th.

The Mounties say he is in police custody on other matters.
