One of four youths implicated in the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy on the Big Stone reserve last month appeared in La Ronge Provincial Court this morning.

The youth, who can’t be identified because of his age, is the only one of the four that remains in police custody.

All of them face charges of second degree murder and interfering with human remains.

Court heard this morning a psychological evaluation has been completed on the teen.

It will now be submitted to Child and Family Services workers to best determine bail and custody conditions upon his release.

The youth will return to court on September 11th for a show cause hearing.

Additional charges he faces from an unrelated incident in early July will also be dealt with at that time.
