Big River Clinics For This Week Cancelled

The Prince Albert Parkland Health Authority has announced that clinics planned for Big River this week have been cancelled.

Due to unexpected circumstances, Dr. Thomas will not be available.

Dr. Louie Poulin of the local health region says they have already hired another doctor to work in the community full-time, but he doesn’t start until January 9th. He added that he is aware the situation is a frustrating one for local residents.

Poulin says the health region is in talks with 2 other doctors but the men are out of country and it could take some time.
