Big Island Lake Cree Nation Gets New Chief

There’s a new chief at the Big Island Lake Cree Nation.

David Sandfly was elected to the position on Friday.

Joining him on council are Janet Kahpoonapit, Jeffrey Sandfly and Joseph Keesaynew.

All of the terms are for 2 years.
