Belanger Calls On SaskParty To Keep Bus Route Plan

Athabasca NDP MLA Buckley Belanger says he wants to know if the Saskatchewan Party government will uphold an NDP commitment to establish a bus route in northwest Saskatchewan.

Last year, Belanger pledged to run a route from Green Lake to Beauval, Ile-a-la-Crosse, Buffalo Narrows and La Loche.

Belanger, who was the minister responsible for STC at the time, says the service is sorely needed and he wants to know where it’s at.

He notes the route was originally scheduled to start in March of this year.
