Another mayor in northwest Saskatchewan is voicing his displeasure with defeated NDP candidate Anita Jackson.

Jackson has joined the call made by the Conservatives for an investigation to be launched into alleged voting irregularities in northern Saskatchewan in Monday’s federal election.

Among other things, she has said she has received reports from her people about intimidation and bullying of NDP supporters in West Side communities.

La Loche, Beauval and Ile-a-la-Crosse were the communities she specifically named.

Ile-a-la-Crosse mayor Max Morin has already taken Jackson to task for portraying his community in a bad light — saying he didn’t see any evidence of election day wrongdoings.

And now, Beauval mayor Sandy Rediron is publicly stating his disapproval of Jackson’s comments. Rediron says he’s not impressed with the picture that was painted of his community.
