A mental health therapist on the Okanese First Nation is set to become the Liberal nominee in the federal riding of Regina-Qu’Appelle.
Allyce Herle will be acclaimed at a nomination meeting in Regina this evening.
Federal Public Works minister Scott Brison will be on hand as a guest speaker.
Herle was the Liberal candidate in the last federal election.
The riding is currently held by the Conservatives’ Andrew Scheer, who defeated Herle and the NDP’s Lorne Nystrom in last year’s vote.
