A northern woman has been released from custody following a shooting incident in Deschambault Lake.

However, 39-year-old Carolyn Beatty must return to court next year on a charge of attempted murder.

Yesterday in La Ronge Provincial Court, the woman was released on an undertaking after her preliminary hearing was set for April 5th.

Beatty was charged after officers discovered a wounded man at Deschambault Lake the morning of November 11th.

He is said to be recovering.
