Assault On The Sturgeon First Nation

An apparent assault has been reported on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Ambulance crews arrived on the scene yesterday afternoon shortly after 4:00, at which point they discovered a male suffering from minor injuries.

He was transported to hospital in Prince Albert.

An official from Parkland Ambulance says he is expected to recover.

No other details are available.
