Arrests Made In Relation To La Loche Homicide

Charges have been laid against three men from La Loche in connection to the death of 19-year-old Blair Lemaigre.

The three suspects — aged 20, 21 and 21 — are each facing charges of second degree murder.

They are currently in custody and will be making a court appearance in La Loche Provincial Court tomorrow.

Police were called shortly after 4:00 Sunday morning with a report of an injured man in the parking lot of a local business on La Loche Avenue.

Emergency Medical Services personnel took Lemaigre to the local clinic, but he succumbed to his injuries.

The cause of death is not being released at this time.

The Mounties say the investigation is continuing, and further charges may be laid as the investigation progresses.

La Loche RCMP are being assisted in the investigation by the Saskatoon RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit.
