Arrest Made Following Crash Near Cowessess

A 21-year-old man is in police custody following a crash near the Cowessess First Nation.

The accident happened last night when a westbound vehicle with five people in it collided with an eastbound car driven by the suspect.

All five occupants of the other vehicle were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the eastbound car is making a court appearance in Broadview today to face criminal charges.
