APTN has announced it will broadcast at a later time in western Canada.

Beginning October 2nd, viewers west of the Manitoba border will see programming three hours later than they’re currently used to.

CEO Jean Larose says the move is being made in an effort to service western viewers better by moving popular programs to more conventional times.

He adds the national news will now be live-to-tape for western viewers, but “Contact” will remain live.
