A northern resident is the latest winner of the Smoke Signals Jackpot at the Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert.

Pervin Janvier of La Loche won just over $401,000 on Sunday.

Smoke Signals is a progressive slot machine tied to all five of SIGA’s casinos.

Janvier is the fourth northerner to win the big prize.

Ile-a-la-Crosse resident Perry Caisse won over $480,000 earlier this year.

In 2005, Turnor Lake’s Doris Moberly claimed a jackpot of more than $444,000.

Five years earlier, Montreal Lake’s Robert Nipshank won over $622,000.
