There has been another criminal charge laid in connection with the controversial 2004 Metis Nation of Saskatchewan election.

31-year-old Karen Lennie of North Battleford has been charged with one count of forgery for alleged wrongdoing during the MNS election.

RCMP spokeswoman Heather Russell says Lennie appeared in front of a judge this morning.

Russell says this is the 10th person to face charges in connection with the disputed election.

Two people have been sentenced following guilty pleas, while another had their charge stayed.
