Cameco is hoping some new animation on its website will increase public awareness about the nuclear fuel process.
A series of animated segments follow the process from exploration through to power generation.
Cameco spokesman Lyle Krahn says the company hopes it will make a complicated topic much easier to understand.
He admits it isn’t a coincidence this has been developed as policy makers debate the future potential of uranium processing in Saskatchewan.
Krahn also says Cameco is willing to consider using animation for its updates on the remediation work being done at Cigar Lake.
