A 20-year-old woman from Texas has been charged in connection to this week’s school bus rollover involving children from the Fishing Lake First Nation.

The RCMP says the unidentified woman was driving the bus when it lost control on a grid road near Foam Lake on Wednesday and rolled in a ditch.

The woman is facing charges of driving without due care and driving too fast for road conditions.

A court date has been set for November 10th in Foam Lake.

The children received a variety of injuries in the mishap, although none are considered life-threatening.
