Ahtakakoop Abuse Victim Hoping To Inspire Others

A member of the Ahtakakoop First Nation is on his way to Toronto today for a U.N.-sponsored conference.
17-year-old Adrienne Starblanket will be attending workshops and speaking to fellow delegates about the issue of violence against children.
Starblanket spent two years of his young life inside the cycle of abuse and wants to help others suffering the same thing.
Starblanket says he made it through those tough years with the help of music and art, and encourages any other kids who are in tough to do the same.
He also advises them to find role models they can identify with.
