AFN Calls For Chief Nominations

An election date has been announced for the position of Chief of the Assembly of First Nations.

On July 12th, chiefs from around the country will descend on Vancouver to decide who should lead the organization.

The position is currently occupied by Phil Fountaine.

A three-week period of nominations begins today.
