Accused Murderer of Pelican Narrows Man in Court

A date has been set to hold the preliminary hearing of a man accused of killing a former resident of Pelican Narrows.

John Buesnel will appear in court on February 18th.

The 48-year-old Prince Albert resident is accused of beating Vincent Leland Ballantyne with a baseball bat during an altercation in a West Flat home in Prince Albert last August.

The 44-year-old Ballantyne died in hospital as a result of his injuries.
