A woman accused of killing a Sandy Bay resident in April of last year has been committed to stand trial.

The decision came this morning in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

The judge presiding over the matter involving 43-year-old Elaine Bird determined the Crown had produced sufficient evidence to send the case to Court of Queen’s Bench.

Bird was charged after 27-year-old Zach Daniels was found dead of stab wounds in a West Flat residence in Prince Albert.
