A provincial court judge has set a court date for a man accused of killing a pregnant Aboriginal woman in Prince Albert.

30-year-old Steve Schutte will see his preliminary hearing begin on December 12th.

The Prince Albert resident was charged with second-degree murder earlier this year — several months after the body of Antoinette Daniels was pulled out of the North Saskatchewan river last summer.

The 26-year-old woman was seven months pregnant at the time she disappeared.

Schutte’s hearing is scheduled to last five days.
