Accused In Onion Lake Murder Due In Court Thursday

A man from the Onion Lake Cree Nation is expected back in court this Thursday to face a charge of second-degree murder.

Forty-nine-year-old Percy Littlewolfe is charged in connection with the death of Leon Sidney Littlewolfe.

Leon Littlewolfe’s body was discovered April 30 on the Onion Lake First Nation.

The accused made his first court appearance Friday in Saskatoon Provincial Court.

He was remanded to next Thursday in Lloydminster Provincial Court.

Onion Lake RCMP Sergeant Brad Zerr says Leon Littlewolfe’s body was found outside a home on the Onion Lake reserve.

RCMP are continuing their investigation into the matter.
