Accused In Fatal Rollover Elects Judge And Jury

A woman charged in connection to a fatal rollover near La Ronge earlier this year entered a “not guilty” plea yesterday.

25-year-old Lily Sanderson of La Ronge also elected to be tried by judge and jury.

Sanderson will be back in court on March 21st in La Ronge for a preliminary hearing.

She’s facing two counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.

The La Ronge RCMP laid the charges last month following an investigation into a May 6th single vehicle rollover that claimed the lives of two women.
