Accident East Of Saskatoon Claims One Life

Lanigan RCMP are investigating a fatal two vehicle crash which occurred in the early evening yesterday.
Officers were called shortly after 6 pm last night to a collision on Highway 16, approximately 100 kilometers East of Saskatoon, between a West bound semi-trailer unit and a East bound car.
The driver and lone occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-trailer driver has no reported injuries.
The name of the 18 year old victim from Wellesley, Ontario will not be released until after next of kin has been notified.
RCMP say no charges have been laid and the driving conditions at the time of the accident were normal.
Mounties say initial investigation has failed to determine the cause of the crash, but the investigation continues.
