Aboriginal Women’s Conference To Be Held In North

The Minister responsible for the Status of Women in Saskatchewan says she wants to help empower aboriginal women at the grass-roots level.
Judy Junor announced the province will host a gathering of women from Northern Saskatchewan this fall. The theme of the event will on leadership.
Junor hopes those women attending will find new approaches and ideas they can take back to their communities.
No date has been set yet for the meeting. Junor says many different stakeholders will be consulted.
