RCMP in Maidstone are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing Aboriginal woman.
42-year-old Linda Lariviere was last seen on Monday afternoon walking from her residence, approximately 3 kms east of Maidstone.
The Mounties say she was headed west along Highway 16, and was on her way to visit a friend in Maidstone. When she was reported missing, an immediate search of places she frequented — including surrounding areas in Maidstone — turned up no sign of her.
