RCMP in Maidstone are asking the public for assistance in locating a missing Aboriginal woman.

42-year-old Linda Lariviere was last seen on Monday afternoon walking from her residence, approximately 3 kms east of Maidstone.

The Mounties say she was headed west along Highway 16, and was on her way to visit a friend in Maidstone. When she was reported missing, an immediate search of places she frequented — including surrounding areas in Maidstone — turned up no sign of her.

Lariviere is approximately 5’3″ tall, weighs 145 lbs. and has black, straight, shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing glasses, light-coloured pants, a green jacket, red fuzzy mitts and a toque.

Anyone with information leading to Lariviere’s whereabouts is asked to contact Maidstone RCMP or Saskatchewan Crimestoppers.
