Aboriginal Nursing Students Graduation Tomorrow

A graduation ceremony takes place tomorrow for 7 students of the nursing program in Prince Albert.

June Anonson, an Assistant Dean with the program, says over half of the students graduating are aboriginal.

She says all of them received their training in the P.A. area and she’s hoping that convinces them to stay in the province.

The graduates will walk away from the ceremony with their Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing. Anonson says many of them have job offers already.
