Saskatoon Residents Missing on Lac La Ronge

Searchers are combing Lac La Ronge for 6 people from Saskatoon that went missing in a boat yesterday.

The RCMP says the group left Napatak at around 11:30 yesterday morning. They were supposed to return by nightfall, but never did.

The group was reported missing at about 7:30 this morning.

A search involving 2 planes and several boats got underway about an hour and a half later.

The Mounties say the missing party consists of 4 adults and two teenagers who were in a black, 19-foot speed boat.
