Plea in Baseball Bat Slaying Delayed

A Prince Albert man accused of killing a former resident of Pelican Narrows with a baseball bat has been given a few more days to enter a plea.

48-year-old John Graham Buesnel is charged with second degree murder.

He was arrested following the death of 44-year-old Vincent Leland Ballantyne in a city residence on August 22nd.

Buesnel was expected to enter a plea to the murder charge in a Prince Albert court yesterday, but his case was adjourned to Wednesday to give him more time to consult with his lawyer.
