Northern Youth Gather for Major Outdoor Conference

Hundreds of young people from across Northern Saskatchewan have assembled near Ile-a-la-Crosse for an annual outdoor youth gathering.

 

This is the 10th year for the Youth Outdoor Wellness Conference at the South Bay campground.

 

It’s the largest gathering of its kind in the North.

 

Last year, the event drew 444 youth.

 

The event got underway yesterday.

 

Northern Affairs Minister Buckley Belanger was scheduled to speak to the young people this afternoon.
