Names Released in Fatal House Fire in Fond du Lac

The RCMP has released the names of the two victims of a fatal house fire in Fond du Lac this past weekend.

45-year-old Janette Isadore and 9-year-old Carlene Isadore were killed in the blaze early Sunday morning.

Rescue attempts were made when police and community members first arrived on the scene to fight the fire, but attempts to enter the burning home were unsuccessful because of the heat, fire and smoke.

Foul play is not suspected.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
