Missinipi Youth Foundation Scholarship Awards Recipients Announced
Missinipi Youth Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee is greatly pleased to announce the selection of seven scholarship recipients for the 2005-2006 academic year awards.
The MYF scholarships program is designed to support and encourage northern youth to undertake post secondary educational opportunities in all aspects of media skills and electronic media communications.

Phoebe Fosseneuve of Cumberland House will be receiving $1,500.00.
Phoebe is in her fourth year on completing a degree in Indigenous Studies and a certificate in Indian Communications Art (INCA) at the First Nations University of Canada in Regina.
Also receiving $1,500.00 will be Pauline Clarke. Pauline is a member of the Peter Ballentyne Cree Nation.
Pauline is entering her fourth year of the Indian Communications Arts (INCA) program at First Nations University of Canada in Regina.
Vivian Merasty of Pelican Narrows has been awarded $1500. Vivian is also a member of the Peter Ballentyne Cree Nation.
Vivian is entering her first year of Photography Journalism at Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology in Regina.
Belinda Nelson of Ahtahkakoop First Nation has been awarded $1000.00.
Belinda is enrolled in her fourth year of the Indian Communications Arts (INCA) program at First Nations University of Canada in Regina.
An additional recipient of $1,000.00 is Bealique Kahmahetayo. Bealique is a member of the Little Pine First Nation.
Bealique is entering her fourth year of the Indian Communications Arts (INCA) program specializing in Cree Language Studies at First Nations University of Canada in Regina.
A $1,000.00 bursary has been awarded to Cassandra Opikokew of Meadow Lake.
Cassandra is commencing her second year of the Pre-Journalism program at University of Regina.
Amanda Petit will also be receiving $1,000.00.
Amanda is starting her first year at Western Academy of Broadcasting in Saskatchewan.
