Man Facing Murder Charge in Dillon Slaying

The RCMP have now charged the man they’ve had in custody since the sudden death of a woman from Dillon yesterday.

34-year-old Larry R. Billette, also from Dillon, faces a charge of second degree murder.

He’s making a court appearance on the charge today in La Loche.

The 36-year-old victim was found in an outdoor public area in Dillon at around 7 o’clock yesterday morning.

The Mounties aren’t yet releasing the name of the victim, because not all family members have been contacted.
