Laliberte Criticizes Decision to Evict Bonneau

Churchill River MP Rick Laliberte doesn’t think much of Saskatchewan Environment’s decision to evict Norman Bonneau yesterday.

Laliberte is openly questioning why the government department chose to remove him from his home just as the weather is turning colder.

Laliberte also says this case has exposed problems with Saskatchewan Environment’s permit system.

He says the current rules make no distinction between a northerner who just wants to live off the land and those with commercial interests.
