The occupation of the Pelican Lake First Nation band office continues.

Lawyers representing the band’s council and the protesters that have been occupying the band office for over a week were in Court of Queen’s Bench in Battleford on Thursday.

The band is asking the judge for a court injunction to force an end to the occupation.

Justice P. Hrabinsky has reserved decision on the matter.

The protesters have been occupying the office over a dispute related to the 2001 band election.
