City police in Prince Albert have decided to lay a charge of mischief against a man who yesterday chained himself to the Northern Lights Casino in protest of his firing two-and-a-half years ago.

Clifford Woods is demanding the Casino compensate him for his termination, adding that since that time, company officials have largely ignored him.

Northern Lights general manager Alphonse Bird disagrees with the allegations and told reporters the Casino has offered Woods the family assistance program, and only fired him after he failed to show up for work for eleven days.

Police officers removed Woods from the building yesterday afternoon without a struggle.
