Fatal ATV Accident on Pelican Lake First Nation

A resident of the Pelican Lake First Nation is dead after an all terrain vehicle accident this past weekend.

The Spiritwood RCMP continues to investigate the accident which occurred approximately 2 kilometers east of Chitek Lake early Sunday morning.

The RCMP says the machine lost control, left the road and struck a tree.

No name has been released as of yet.

The Mounties say an autopsy will be performed.
