A business consultant with the province’s forestry centre is encouraging Northern Saskatchewan to put its thinking cap on.

Bill Currie says the centre is currently accepting project ideas for the Forest Development Fund’s 2004 year.

He says one million dollars is available to those groups that put forth innovative ideas designed to help Saskatchewan’s forest both economically and ecologically.

Currie says written submissions must be in by November 15th.

In the past, project ideas have included alternative methods for treating the spruce budworm problem and forest fires.
