Black Lake women dies in fatal vehicle crash

RCMP have released the name of a woman killed in a single vehicle roll-over in Northern Saskatchewan on Sunday.

49-year-old Mary Rose Mercredi of Black Lake died as a result of injuries incurred when the vehicle she was travelling in lost control and rolled on Highway 964 between Stony Rapids and Black Lake.

The driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old Black Lake man, was taken to a Saskatoon hospital by air ambulance with undetermined injuries.

RCMP believe neither occupants were wearing seatbelts and continue to investigate the accident.
