UPDATE – RCMP say Jamie Lee Cote has been located and is safe.

RCMP continue their search for a 28-year-old woman from Keeseekoose First Nation who has not been seen since last Tuesday.

Jamie Lee Cote’s last confirmed sighting was at local business in Yorkton about 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 13.

It is also believed she may have been walking along Hwy 10 near Melville, around 7 p.m., on the same day and gotten into a dark SUV traveling southbound.

Police also say she may be headed toward British Columbia but this has not been confirmed.

Cote is described as 5’ 8” tall, weighing about 170 lbs, with brown eyes and brown wavy shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black sweat pants and carrying garbage bags believed to contain her belongings.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kamsack RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
