***UPDATE – RCMP say Colton Ballantyne was tracked down on Oct. 2 and is safe and sound.

 

Since June, a boy with ties to the Prince Albert and Pelican Narrows areas has eluded RCMP officers who are trying to locate him.

Colton Ballantyne, 14, went missing from Prince Albert on June 21, 2015 and since then the RCMP has not been able to pinpoint where he is.

Ballantyne has ties in Pelican Narrows and the Peter Ballantyne First Nation.

In a news release, the RMCP says its needs to make contact with him to make sure he’s safe.

Ballantyne is described as a slender First Nations boy weighing about 126 pounds and standing 5’9’’. He has black hair and brown eyes.
