News & Information Director
Prince Albert, SK
I’ve been with MBC since December 2nd, 1996. In fact, employment at MBC was the reason I moved to La Ronge.
La Ronge is also where I met my wife, Jocelyn. We were married in 2009, and currently live in Prince Albert with our daughter, Nissa, our son, Finn.
Prior to my time with MBC, I was briefly at CJDC in Dawson Creek, BC and worked a five-month internship at CJNB in North Battleford in 1996. My family moved from Saskatoon to the Battlefords in 1985.
I’m a graduate of Saskatoon’s Western Academy Broadcasting College, and actually got into broadcasting because of my interest in sports.
Anyone who cheers for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Edmonton Oilers or La Ronge Ice Wolves is OK in my books.
I’m also an “avid” golfer (enthusiastic, but I’ve been known to soil the sheets out there).
