MBC Network Radio has been the play-by-play “voice”
of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s La Ronge
Ice Wolves since the team first hit the ice in 1998.
MBC Network Radio and the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the SJHL have formally agreed to a new broadcast agreement for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.
Fans will have to the opportunity to listen to 31 games this season from various rinks around Saskatchewan. One SJHL Showcase contest, four neutral-site games (Pinehouse, Unity, Macklin and Spiritwood) and every regular season away game will be carried on MBC with the voice of the Ice Wolves, Braden Malsbury. Every road playoff game will also be broadcast, pending any programming conflicts.
