MBC
announces power increase and frequency change for The Battlefords
The new dial position
(95.5FM) will bring MBC Network Radio to Little Pine, Moosomin, Poundmaker,
Sweetgrass, Mosquito, Red Pheasant, and Saulteaux First Nations and all
communities in between. The 28,000 watt signal can be heard 100 kilometres
to the north and 80 kilometers to the south of North Battleford. This
recent expansion was several years in the making and is the result of
the support from local community members, MBC staff, Aboriginal Business
Canada, Pippin Technical Service and MBC’s Board of Directors.

cultural programming in English, Cree and Dene to over 70 communities
